Summer time fun

Summer is good for several reasons. Kids are happier, parents are happier. Vacations, snow balls. Nice warm evenings. Flowerbeds I’m full bloom. I love summer.

I have coached T Ball for a few years now. Hate it. I hate all sports. I’m not a sporty type dad or person. I like football, only because I want to be able to talk to other men. Period. I do however, love my kids. Spending time doing something they like is not soon replacable. One day they will be gone, living thier life doing what they want or need to do, so I coach, I love, I teach, I mentor, I guide. I get to watch them grow from babies to girls to women. And soon in a few years, I’ll be coaching or watching my boys get coached in football and baseball. Oh what a great life God allows me to live. Today, spend time with your kids. Listen to them, don’t talk, just listen. It’s the heartbeat that matters.

T ball time!

This is Emma’s first year playing t ball. An exciting time for her. I am her coach, the same pattern as I’ve followed with all the kids so far. I always enjoy getting to see my favorite coaches out with a few new ones. It’s a great time. You should come check it out at the beautiful Healing Place athletic complex at the Highland Road campus. Sure to be a hit! Ha! Later. Check out my girl!

When momma is down

This is what the kids get for dinner. Here is another snip it into my life. Yesterday my wife needed a little break from the routine of staying home So much with the new baby and all. So I decide to tell her, you take the 2 older ones, I’ll keep the 4 younger ones and you go. BIG MISTAKE! I lost control in under 5 minutes. The walkers went wild, the baby sensed it and cried the whole time. God knew what he was doing when he made momma’s! Daddy was ready to run away, all this took place in under and hour! THANK YOU Fannie for being my wife and my kids momma’s! We all love you.
